What is Normal?

Most doctors do not understand hormone results. The total Testosterone from most labs is about 200 to 800 as the normal range. If you are almost dead at age 95 you would be have a reading of 200. So when your test comes back & it is above 200 the doctor will tell you it is fine. It should be over the 500 mark.

He most likely did not test you for estrogen E2. It is likely as high as a woman the same age as you. The E2 range usually runs from 20 to 52. Yours should be below 30. If it was 50 the doctor would say you are fine.

If your testosterone is in the lower 1/4 of the normal range and/or your E2 is in the upper 1/3 of the normal range you will have low sex drive & erection problems.
